Guided answer
Trademark: my application was objected to or opposed. What now?
Trade mark deadlines are short. An examination report and a notice of opposition follow different rules - work out which one you have first.
Check the status today - the application may be treated as abandoned.
Urgent - a deadline or loss of rights may be close
- Rule 33(4) allows the Registrar to treat the application as abandoned if there is no reply in time.
- Look up the application on IP India's trade mark status page and check for any further notice.
- Take advice immediately on whether a reply can still be filed or what remedy is available.
Not sure whether this applies to your invention?
The honest answer usually needs someone to look at your actual disclosure, your timeline and the prior art. That is a conversation, not an article.
