- Confirm the exact dates. The general extension power was rewritten in 2024 and its reach is contested - take advice rather than assuming either way.
- The application has probably published, so its content is prior art against a fresh filing of the same subject matter.
- Consider whether genuine developments since filing could support a new application on different subject matter.
- Fix the cause: address for service, docketing owner, handover process.
