Guided answer
A competitor has opposed my patent application or patent
Pre-grant and post-grant oppositions follow different steps and clocks. Work out which one you face.

A reasoned order rejecting the representation follows.
Lower complexity
- If the Controller sees no prima facie case, the opponent is notified. Unless the opponent asks for a hearing, a reasoned order rejecting the representation follows within one month; if a hearing is requested, the order follows within one month of the hearing (rule 55).
- You will be notified either way. Keep your own file ready in case the opponent contests the order.
